Who Are We? Hariciye Foreign Policy and Security Research Center is a think tank that produces academic and strategic analyses in the fields of foreign policy, international relations, and security policies to support Turkey’s strategic stance in these areas. Hariciye aims to provide innovative and realistic perspectives to decision-makers, academics, and the public by conducting research centered on global security dynamics, Transatlantic relations, and regional geopolitics through evaluating global and regional developments. Working with an interdisciplinary approach, Hariciye focuses on developing new policies by bringing together academics, diplomats, security experts, and young researchers. As a platform that promotes critical thinking, relies on evidence-based research, and develops strategic vision, it works in cooperation with national and international actors.

It aims to become an internationally respected reference point in the fields of Transatlantic relations and regional security, developing data-driven and sustainable policy recommendations through scientific and analytical approaches.

- Produce Analysis and Strategy: Develop academic-based, data-driven, concrete, and implementable strategies in Turkey’s foreign policy and security fields.
- Strengthen Transatlantic Bonds: Conduct innovative and solution-oriented research and provide policy recommendations to strengthen ties within NATO and the Euro-Atlantic community.
- Contribute to Decision-Makers and Public: Provide a proactive vision by analyzing strategic developments around Turkey and producing objective, data-driven analyses on issues related to our country’s national security and foreign policy.
- Support Young Researchers and Experts: Train new generation policy analysts and thought leaders by providing educational and research opportunities to young experts and next-generation academics interested in academic studies.
